Le musée du Coquillage et de la Mer, or Shell and Sea Museum, is a private museum established by a shell lover who amassed a collection of more than 4,000 shells from around the world, grouped into more than 2,000 different types, the vast majority of which are Caribbean species, as well as many taxidermied fish and sharks, starfish, sea urchins, crabs... spread across more than 150 square meters of exhibit space.
The shells are groups by family, each with an explanatory text and various illustrations.
