Located on the southern beach route, Anse Figuier is worth the stop. A perfect spot for quality family time on the huge lawn in the shade of coconut palms and numerous other trees. The water is calm at Anse Figuier and the seabed is quite beautiful; don't forget your snorkeling gear! You can also visit the Martinique Ecomuseum (l'EcomusŽe de Martinique), located in an old distillery, where you can see vestiges of the Arawak period that were found on the beach in 1992.
A children's playground (a slide, swings, etc.), picnic tables and carbets (traditional Caribbean huts) are at your disposal.
