A magnificent shaded beach with crystal-clear, rather shallow water, Anse Michel is very popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers, as well as with families who come to relax for the weekend. Only a stone's throw away is Ilet Chevalier (Knight's Islet), a little paradise a few hundred meters in length and about the same width; it faces the Atlantic, but is very well protected by a coral reef. Access to the islet is by boat. On weekends, there is a local, family atmosphere.
