Interpretation panels and decking through the mangrove swamp will take you through a rich and authentic landscape.
The longer trail leads up to the Caravelle lighthouse, the highest peak on the peninsula.
The Grand Sentier (long trail) takes you up to Caracoli Point, a bird sanctuary and the most breathtaking spot on La Caravelle. The Grand Sentier offers magnificent views of the cliffs and savannahs, as well as a good sample of the peninsula's geological riches, not forgetting the petrified hot springs.
The nature reserve is also home to the weather station.
